Candle Care
Candle Care Made Easy:
1. Trim the Wick: Before lighting, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch to prevent excessive smoke and ensure a clean burn.
2. First Burn Matters: Allow the candle to melt across the entire surface during the first burn to avoid tunneling and extend its overall life.
3. Avoid Drafts: Place the candle away from drafts to ensure an even burn and prevent it from burning faster on one side.
4. Burn in Intervals: Keep each burning session to 3-4 hours to prevent overheating and allow the candle to cool before relighting.
5. Keep it Clean: Remove debris or wick trimmings from the wax pool to maintain a cleaner burn and prevent unwanted odors.
6. Safety First: Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials, and never leave it unattended while burning.
7. Store Smart: Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve color and fragrance.
8. Repurpose or Recycle: Once the candle is done, consider repurposing the container or recycling it responsibly.
The Rough and Bumpy Tops, that may develop on our container candles after burning occur due to the soy wax in the melt pool solidifying at varying rates. This is a natural trait of soy wax and does not imply any error on your part.
